Don’t know an opera buffa from an opera seria? Up your concert IQ by spending a morning, afternoon, or evening cocktails with Maestro Mark Sforzini of the St. Petersburg Opera. A series of introductory previews with the Maestro are being offered for the general public to learn more about the masterful art of the opera in a casual setting.
Maestro Sforzini leads the 90-minute programs at various times and venues, themed to enhance your experience in an engaging and entertaining way. Live performances by opera members accompany Maestro’s insightful explorations of plot, character, and music.

What Makes a Great Opera Melody will be the theme April 19-22, Preview to La Traviata will be May 17-20 and Preview to The Music Man June 14-21.
